Since I’m new I haven’t really met up with any old friends, but I Have made some new friends. Brittany Caldwell and June Virgil are my main girls. I hang out with them and the boys just about every day. We do just about everything together.

I’ve been attending Stevenson for about a month or so now, and I’ve gone to every home football game so far and I also went to the welcome back dance. Last Friday I went to Churchill’s homecoming game with Brittany and some guys, afterwards we just hung out. I plan on going to our homecoming game and homecoming.

One of the funniest moments that has happened to me at school so far happened the other day. I went to my locker during passing time, and I immediately bent down to pick up a book and then Smack! My world literature book feel from the top shelve and hit me right on top of my head. There were some people around laughing, I laughed to.

I haven’t really had any hard assignments yet other than homework itself. I do have some trouble in math, but those aren’t challenging assignments. Global Education turned out to be completely different then I thought. The assignments aren’t as hard as I pictured.

The top five current events going on in the news right now are, 1. Obama receiving the Nobel peace prize after being in office for such a short period of time. 2. We recently discovered a 40,000 year old female human; she’s believed to be the first female human ever, or one of. 3. One of the latest deaths in the news is Patrick Swayze, along with Michael Jackson over the summer.4. Just last week we crashed two shuttles worth millions of dollars on the moon, in search for water, in the end the shuttles weren’t even working and could find water.5.A new car was just released on the market, it can go forty miles with one charge and it also stops itself when your oblivious to other cars, so it protects you and saves tons on money.

Some important faces in the news would be Roman Polanski, he raped a girl here in America way back when and now he was arrested in Europe, and is going to serve more time after running away before serving previous time.
Some new words that I use or have picked up since being at Stevenson high would be Aye, Okay, and for some reason I’ve been talking in a British accent a lot lately. Most of them are just jokes with friends but I’ve learned them since being here.

A few memorable songs for me would have to be “Becky” by Plies because it kept playing the first time I hung out with June Brittany and the boys. So now whenever I hear that song it reminds me of sitting in Romi’s room, watching Television, and chillin’ on the computer. Another memorable song would be Lol Smiley face, it reminds me of when I lived in Howell and I hung out with the same people every day.

There’s only one movie it its harry Potter the newest one its memorable to me because I went to the twelve o’clock showing with a huge group of friends and it was crazy because everyone was dressed like the characters and acting like wizards and what not. We ended up sneaking into Bruno the movie have way through because we got board but then we decided to go back, but our seats were taken so we sat on the stairs.

The only gossip or rumors that I’ve heard about lately is that Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant , that’s about it because I don’t really get into that kind of stuff.

Some trends that are big right now are, wearing head bands on your foreheads and skinny jeans have come back too. Another trend would be wearing sweats with short shorts underneath them, that’s mainly for girls right now.

My first cultural event was going to my churches Greek festival; it was easy to use as an event because I worked there and danced because I attend the church. The project itself wasn’t all that hard because I choose to do a written essay, instead of a creative display or a oral presentation.

Homecoming:

Some advice for a freshman would be to be prepared to get pushed around in the halls, because they’re so crowded, another tip would be to try and do your best and get your GPA up because if you get it up your freshman year it sets it up so that you can keep it up, because once you get it down you won’t be able to get it up without losing your life outside of school, if you keep it up from day one and go steady with home work and studying you will still be able to have time to chill with friends if it drops ( your GPA) you won’t have time for friends because studying and doing home work will consume all your time. Oh and make sure you go to all the home football games.

Some things that I’m looking forward to are tonight’s homecoming game and homecoming tomorrow. I’m also looking forward to winter break, and spring break my senior year, that’ll be the best. I’m also looking forward to prom and soccer tryouts this year.

There aren’t really any other noteworthy achievements or events.
